Scout and Dill

Scout and Dill are apparently getting married when they get older, but I don't see much chemistry between them. They are almost as different as night and day. Dill is always hanging around Jem when he visits, and I just don't see the relationship going anywhere fast.

I see where you are going with this, but keep in mind they are still only little kids. There probably wouldn't be any chemistry anyway, even if they were more alike. They just seem too little to be in love.

It's just like playing pretend. Haven't you ever heard of little kids who've had "weddings" on the playground?
It's not like they're actually getting married, they're just being childish. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as they're still just kids.
