thankfully we are finally getting close to seeing the main conflict in this book. The no surprise there but the Ewells are the ones responsible. Although it hasn't showed what the case is about I am really excited for it to begin. Anybody else notice the pick up in action in the book? I did and i am loving every bit of it....Scout is turning out to be pretty fun after all

I liked it on the way through honestly....
I don't ever remember thinking the book was boring ..
But the reason could be because I wasn't assigned to read the book and didn't have a time limit to read it in.
People tend to rebel when given a task . . . . ?? possibly. . .
maybe, but that's not why i dislike the book... i just think its kinda boring.. (i loved the books i read for our summer project)

well now that most people are over the "I hate this book phase" I'm starting to wonder what is going to happen next, I can usully tell the outcome of the book within a few chapters but i have no idea what will happen...I guess thats a good thing though
I agree with Mu, whoever you are. I was ort of annoyed with the fact that everyone was whining about the book. i sort of like it from the begining. maybe it's just me.
I really don't understand how you can say this book was poorly written. The fact that you don't know whats going to happen next is one reason its great. It wouldn't still be around if it was poorly written.

I think when most people are told that they have to read a book for school they automatically get a negative attitude. I personally have thought this book has been pretty interesting.
