Oh Dill....

So dill is really a very.... colorful character. He is quite the spunky little thing, and i think it's funny how he wanted Scout to marry him. However, aside from him being "cute" at times, he is a downright mischievous kid. I mean sure boys are curious creatures, and he keeps the story interesting. But, I sure don't like how he is starting to separate Scout and Jem. They were so close. Then when Jem met Dill, they started doing things like pretend to be the Radley's, or even do something as silly as go to the back yard to try to see inside!! Jem obviously know that this bothers Scout..... at least he should because she tells him over and over. It just bothers me that Dill's crazy schemes are starting to take a toll on Scout and Jem's relationship..... :(

TYPICAL BOY.

Whoever said that this book was unrealistic was deeply mistaken.

Dill is the typical boy who stirs with everyone's emotions and makes all of the relationships go haywire.

GOOO FIGURRREEE.

Boys are dumb end of story.

This is just inapropiate and uncalled for.

Inappropriate and uncalled for???? Are you kidding me??? Boys are almost always the root of trouble. Haven't you ever heard your mom tell you that "Trouble" is your middle name?!? Yes, Dill does stir up emotions and causes, or will cause, mass chaos! Sorry boys, you're stuck with that stereotype!

Ok 88 keys you say boys are dumb? Well im a boy and I think the whole "boys are dumb end of story" thing is something sexist you just said because of your personal experiences. Good for you. Next time think before you say things.

leave it to the girls to start complaining about emotions this early on in the book, when honestly not much has really happened. I suppose Dill has began to get between them but what good is a book if there is no conflict? That would really make it unrealistic....

Whatever.

I am talking from experience here!

Most of them are all exactly like Dill!

All us girls can relate here.

Can i get an amen?

"Boys are dumb"?
Thats hilarious because its pretty dumb to be sexist on a male dominated blog about your personal experiences.

heres a stereotype: girls say anything to make themselve feel good about themselve. So when you say boys are the root of all trouble, then you are really just trying to get attention.

AMEN!!!!!!! I'm with ya! Us girls got to stick together!!!

This is supposed to be about the book!!!!!!

we are just relating it to our own lives here.

No reason to get upset . . Good lord.

You guys seriously are not even talking about the book anymore! And everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And I dont understand why you said "boys are dumb." How is dill dumb? I dont understand why he's dumb or what he did wrong?
