Is it just me?

I hope it is not me going crazy, but while reading dialogues, do you find it hard to understand who is talking? I get so mixed up sometimes about "wait, who was that? I thought it was [insert name here] but that doesn't make sense for that character." Then I have to go back and reread it S-L-O-W-L-Y to realize who is who. It could be that the quotes are too close together (just my opinion), or maybe I am just reading them too fast.

Is it just me??

I noticed that too. There are some quotes that I still don't know who said, I just had to guese and try to make since of it. It's kind of confusing!

Oh no it is not just you.
I also find myself getting confused. I guess you just have to pay more attention to the book. I have to reread pages of book a ton. Especially in the beginning. It gets much easier at the book goes on in my opinion though.

Well. I don't think it's unrealistic to be afraid of a house...You have to change your perspective to that of a child in order to see things like that.

I do agree that the book hasn't had any action yet, though. It's been a little bit boring, but what book isn't at some point in time?

Yes, I also noticed that, but I notice that with just about every book. I usually have to go back and reread it, or later on during the conversation I recognize who said what.

I agree with you la cerise. i don't really know for sure but the way that people in the south talk is really fast and with a huge accent difference. So, maybe it's supposed to be that way. I get confused sometimes too, but you just have to read it carefully the first time. I've learned that from experience.
